TOP Platinum Print Offer

Today at 12:00 noon (Central Time, USA) was zero hour for the launch of a special offer. Available are platinum/palladium prints from three of my negatives, through The Online Photographer site. These three pictures will be available at a fraction (literally less than a fifth) of the gallery price for my limited edition Pt/Pd prints. These three pictures will obviously be open editions.

In addition we are offering the same pictures as digital prints. Link on over to TOP to read all about the offer and the thinking behind what we are making available.

WP Supplemental: Random Chance

Woodbury, Connecticut

Over at TOP there's been discussion about the monkeys at a typewriter coming up with Hamlet fallacy, but of course sometimes random chance does produce some surprising results. A photographer friend visited over the weekend and after spending the requisite hours staring at prints, we went out for dinner at a Chinese restaurant. All agreed there was something a little spooky about my fortune cookie.

Spring has Sprung

Hartford, Connecticut

We're having a crazy warm spell here, a false summer for a week or so. The daffodils are up and the trees are springing into bud. I'm taking my darkroom out of winter mothballs. Another day of careful cleanup and I'll be ready to catch up on some platinum/palladium printing.

Connecticut River at Hartford

Hartford, Connecticut

Charter Oak Landing, a riverside park with winding stone-paved walkways, is closed to traffic for the obvious reason that it would now be a wadeway. The river crested early this morning and should be getting lower soon in the clear weather predicted for the weekend.
